Graphic Design Assistant

Part-Time / Flexible, on-site role - Monaghan

We are looking for a Graphic Design Student or Recent Graduate to join our graphics team in Monaghan.

This is a long-term opportunity. The role will initially be part-time and flexible, with the aim of developing the right person into a full-time position within the business.

We are looking for someone who wants to learn, develop and build a career in graphic design.

Important: This is not a typical graphic design studio role. The majority of your time will be spent designing graphics for large goods vehicles, not social media or branding-only projects.

You’ll be working under the guidance of our Senior Designer, supporting a wide variety of vehicle and print design projects. If you’re someone who thrives under pressure, is confident dealing with clients, and has a genuine interest in trucks, we want to hear from you.

The Role

Design graphics for trucks, trailers, vans and other vehicles
Design signs, posters, flyers and advertisements
Prepare artwork for print and production
Assist with vehicle graphics and large-format design
Work with our design, production and fitting teams
Learn new skills and develop your design ability

We Are Looking For

Graphic Design student or recent graduate
Good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Strong portfolio and good eye for design
Keen to learn and develop
Organised and reliable
Good communication skills
High level of written and spoken English
Local to the Monaghan area preferred
Interest in trucks, vehicles or the haulage industry

Previous vehicle graphics experience is not required. We are looking for someone with good design ability and the right attitude to learn.

Graphics Fitter Vacancies

Coyle Complete Limited require an experienced and also an apprentice fitter for our busy graphics department.

The positions available are on a full-time basis working 5 – 6 days per week, from 8am to 6pm and working one Saturdays per month from 8am to 1pm (approximately)

The successful candidate will work in the area of graphics layout, preparation and fitting. As a renowned company in this industry specialising in commercial vehicles and buses we are looking for the right Fitter to continue with our exceptionally high standards.

We will be offering €15-€19 per hour with 20 days paid holidays per year to the candidate with experience.

Application Requirements:

Previous experience in graphics fitting and applying vinyl and digital is essential
Clean European driving license
The ability to work under pressure meeting tight deadlines
Capable of working alone or as part of a team
Good attention to detail
A good understanding of Health and Safety in the Workplace
Candidates must have a good level of spoken English

Duties include

Using plotters and printing machines.
Making and fitting vinyl vehicle graphics and other signage
Measuring and calculating sizes and material requirements
Preparing surfaces
Repairing signs and graphics
Maintaining health and safety in the workplace
Any other duties, not listed above, but required to carry out production of vehicle graphics and signage

This is a permanent job. Candidates must be able to commit to a minimum contract of 18 months – 2 years plus living and working in Ireland
